WOMEN’S RIGHTS AND SOCIAL JUSTICE
Overview
Women’s contributions are often overlooked, undervalued, and unpaid. Many work in unsafe conditions or hold precarious jobs, highlighting the need for stronger corporate accountability in upholding human rights.
Globally, women and girls face a high risk of violence. To change this, we must challenge the social and cultural norms that perpetuate their vulnerability.
Violence against women is rooted in structural factors, including societal beliefs, economic inequalities, and limited access to resources. Governments must take stronger action to protect and empower marginalized women, ensuring their rights are upheld.
